For Internet Explorer Users:

Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools > Internet Options. Go to the Privacy tab. Click the Advanced button. Check the box Override Automatic Cookies Handling. Under First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies, choose Accept. Click OK. Click the Apply button at the bottom. Go to the General tab. Hit the Delete button under Browsing history in the middle of the window. Make sure there is a check mark next to Cookies and Temporary Internet Files and then click Delete. When they are finished deleting, click OK at the bottom of the box and close all of your browser windows. Open up a new browser and try to access the CourseMate site again.

 

For Firefox Users:

Open Firefox and click on the orange Firefox button in the top left-hand corner. Click on Options or Tools then Options. Go to the Privacy tab. Under History, choose Use Custom Settings for History next to Firefox will: then check Accept cookies from sites. In Firefox will: under History, change the option to Remember history and click on clear your recent history. Place a checkmark in the checkboxes next to Cookies and Cache, then click Clear Now. Click OK. Open up a new browser and try to access the CourseMate site again.

If you follow the steps in Internet Explorer and they do not work, the next step is to download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com. When you are installing Firefox, make sure that you do NOT import settings from Internet Explorer when prompted to.
